Who is Dr Bill Hogan
Dr. Bill Hogan is a professional chiropractor who hails from the sometimes-sunny coast of Newfoundland. His extensive education in the field granted him the opportunity to trek the globe – from the east coast of Canada to central South America.
He attained a B.Sc. degree in Kinesiology and M.Sc. degree with a major in Neural Control of Movement at University of New Brunswick. As part of his master’s degree, he traveled to Chinju, South Korea for specialized fellowship training in pediatric orthopedics. After completing the fellowship he went on to pursue a degree in chiropractic at Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2005. He later practised for a short time in Cochabamba, Bolivia with the “Clinic Abroad Program”.
Following that time abroad, Dr. Hogan returned to the States and practised in Wisconsin for three years, before landing here in beautiful British Columbia. It was after a term as an associate in a busy Langley clinic that he stepped out to fulfill a dream of running his own clinic. In 2009, Dr. Hogan opened the doors to Clayton Heights Chiropractic.
His day-to-day mission is to help patients understand how their back and spine work. In doing so, patients learn targeted stretches that work best for their particular issues and a treatment strategy usually including chiropractic adjustments along with massage therapy, to help them reach their full health potential. Dr. Hogan is dedicated to those who are focused on an active-living lifestyle and to local and elite athletes.
With his roots now planted in the Lower Mainland and a growing family, he devotes his free time to his wife Cynthia and their young sons; Will and Jack. And in his own pursuit of living an active lifestyle, he manages to sneak away to hit the links from time to time.
