Who is Chelsey Cairns
Chelsey graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in 2021 and has been working as an RMT ever since. During her studies, she completed outreaches in pre/post natal GF Strong Rehabilitation Centre and completed a case study on the effects of trigger point therapy for the treatment of plantar fasciitis.
In her practice, Chelsey likes to create tailored treatment plans to help her clients and uses a variety of modalities based on the patients’ needs. These modalities include General Swedish, petrissage, trigger point release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, myofascial release, and level 1 manual lymphatic drainage.
Before becoming an RMT, she completed a Bachelor of Arts degree at Simon Fraser University with a major in history in 2017. She enjoys gardening and had a small flower farm in Nova Scotia before moving back to BC in 2026.
