Gardening
Gardening is a great outdoor activity that the whole family can enjoy. It is something my sons, wife and I took interest in a few years ago and it has been a great addition to the summer routine. However, like any activity injury can occur if not done properly. Here are a few helpful tips to keep your back in check, your garden in bloom and your vegetables growing.
- Warm up the body before you start with a quick 5-10 minute walk.
- Follow the warm up with easy, low-impact stretches.
- Remember to take frequent breaks and avoid prolonged postures
It is common to have some sore muscles after gardening, but if the back pain lasts longer than a day or two consult Clayton Heights Chiropractic for an evaluation. Enjoy!!
