Neelam Bhatoe graduated from West Coast College of Massage Therapy in April 2016. She shares great passion and enthusiasm in providing rehabilitation and treatment to her clients. After suffering from injuries caused by a motor vehicle collision, she realized how much of a difference massages were making in her road to recovery and decided to change careers. Neelam is very understanding of chronic pain, overuse injuries, neurological disorders and skilled in a variety of techniques to provide a safe and effective treatment.
Coming from a medical background, Neelam is very compassionate and understanding. She believes that active listening and good clinical reasoning are crucial in helping patients cope with their musculoskeletal pain and stress. Her current areas of interest in massage therapy includes sports injuries, degenerative disorders and diseases, pain and stress related disorders and tension headaches.
Growing up as an athlete, Neelam has a very dynamic understanding of sport injuries and the musculoskeletal system. She currently spends her free time hiking and exploring the parks and forests that beautiful British Columbia offers. Neelam is an avid traveller and believes in living a healthy and active lifestyle.
