Alexis was raised in Abbotsford since moving from the Philippines when he was 6 years old. Alexis is proud to call this community home after all these years. Sports has been a big part of his life and he wanted to continue with that connection with sports as he got older.
Alexis has played football for almost 21 years and counting. Ranging from high school to the Canadian Junior Football League to now touch football on weekends. He also plays tennis and has recently picked cycling as a new hobby. Having been in sports for so many years he has met a lot of Chiropractors. That is why he made the decision to become a Chiropractor. Alexis graduated from the University of the Fraser Valley with a Bachelor of Kinesiology and then went to the University of Western States in Portland where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic.
As a chiropractor Alexis looks at the body as a whole. We have always been told that everything is connected, and that statement definitely is true. He works a lot of the soft tissues that move our body as well as adjusting the many bones that hold our body together. He uses many techniques to work on soft tissues such as Cupping, Pin and stretching, and massage. Alexis can adjust the spine or other parts of the body manually or mobilize the joints depending on patient preference.
