Job Description

PART-TIME receptionist required at our busy clinic. The role is only suitable for candidates seeking long-term, part-time work.

Role includes:

  • Greeting patients, answering multiple phone lines, booking appointments
  • Handling payments, including direct billing to insurance companies, WCB, ICBC
  • Providing support to practitioners and other staff members
  • Contacting lawyers and other third parties to assist patients
  • General office duties
  • Ensuring Covid-19 protocols are followed

This role is suitable for an experienced receptionist that thrives in a fast-paced environment with a great team. Ideal candidates have clinic, spa or similar experience as well as:

  • Ability to pay attention to detail while being friendly and professional in a busy environment
  • Excellent communication skills both in person and over the phone
  • Strong computer skills and a fast learner for specialized software programs. Experience with Office Master & Jane App would be ideal but training will be provided.
  • Shifts would be: (Initial shifts will vary for training)
    • Monday 2:00pm – 6:00pm
    • Wednesday 2:00pm – 6:00pm
    • Friday 2:00pm – 6:00pm
    • Once trained, every second Saturday 8:45 to 1:00 pm
    • Additional shifts as required for occasional coverage (covering for sick days and vacations of other front desk employees).
  • $18/hour to start, depending on experience
